RUCHIKA AND HER TWILIGHT SPINACH

It was still dark when she drove alone with her little daughter to the farm through the village roads, just to pluck some tender spinach. She had the passion to touch the dew dripping leaves in a toxin free acre and take home a bunch, regardless of the 40kms round trip she had to make for it in that hour.

Till we saw the shadow of her arm on the torch lit spinach patch in the dawn, we ignorantly thought we are the only farm enthusiasts, blinded by passion.

Organic quality of life is beyond the values of distance and money. Farm delight can be a deeply felt intangible gain.
