DISCOVERING THE AVATAR VEGETABLE

Its incredible blush doesn't make a tomato innocent. 

It is one of those vegetables that can either make or break a farmer. Sometimes a 'Rajah' and sometimes a 'Runk', tomatoes transform into avatars and force their way to the dinner table in some form or the other. Raw, diced, sauteed, barbecued, sauce, ketchup, soup, curried or pureed they see that you just can't reject them from life. 

And we are just discovering this pantheon of tomato avatars. Since you shunned its fresh blush at the market, we have now been sun drying them for a week.
