We have been involved in natural resources-based livelihood support missions and policy horizons in the country. In this process, we have advised the Khadi and Village Industries Commission of the Government of India to revive many defunct village industries, among which is Pashmina handcrafting in Leh, Kashmir, so that the Kashmiri artisans could bring out pure and fine pashmina shawls and stoles into the market once again. A number of Kashmiri artisans are now retrained and empowered in the process.
As a result, we have access to a few numbers of pre-launch orders on pure Ladakhi pashmina shawls (200cm x 100cm) and stoles (200cm x 70cm) at the introductory price of Rs. 16,590 for shawls and Ra. 13,272 for stoles.
We will be happy to pass this on to this community and place pre-orders with the Commission before they exhaust their limited edition. The quality is guaranteed by the KVIC of Govt of India.
