By Dr. R Sudarshan
A bully bunch of flycatchers was excitedly chirping this morning in a corner area of the farm where a few mulberry plants had been badly burnt by a rogue fire some weeks ago. We went over to examine and found to our surprise that not only the mulberry bush had come back to life, it still had two fistfuls of mulberries, even after the rummaging flycatchers had run over the bounty. And close by, just a six-month-old blackberry vine too had borne berries that were still leaf green and so, unseen.
