Another 300 books arrived at the store this week, many of them being repeat orders of what our readers preferred and repeatedly referred to. Many books were bought by some in multiple copies to present to those they loved and cared for. In the weeks that have passed, we have discovered a new tribe of book lovers who buy the titles in multiple copies to gift to people they want to motivate, inspire, and incentivize.
They tell us that they reward with books, those whose productive capacity in an office, school, or institution is recognized and valued OR in a family is expected and adored.
Do we then understand that books are as much a reading delight as they are an investment in a relationship!
Well yes. Giving is a living skill.

GERONIMO STILTON

Now 64, then young Elisabetta Dami was bored stiff, and depressed enough to concoct rat and mouse stories to children in a hospital in Italy in the 1990s. That rolled into books and got translated into over 50 languages around the world. Now in less than 20 years, over 180 million copies have been sold and more than 200 titles have emerged. Silverfish Books has almost all and over 300 copies on the shelf.
A mouse, a mouse island, a rodent gazette, a mysterious valley, a secret lab, a pet bat, and a whole world of mouse adventures including mouse adaptations of 'Around the world in 80 days, 'Treasure Island', 'Alice in Wonderland and more.
One of the most sought series that helps in language learning and logical thinking, Geronimo Stilton is a global rage amongst children below 10 years.
If your family hasn't yet brought home this new millennial phenomenon called Geronimo Stilton, you haven't lived in this century yet.

SHAKESPEARE, HERE
A regime that ruled half the planet for centuries did broadcast some dramatic scripts of their national poet, and the great banyan tree of English literature, the world over, grew some prop roots of Shakespeare. His 39 plays and 154 sonnets became the core of learning in high schools and early university, and Shakespeare became a household name.
But most of us dropped him as soon as we left the schools but continued to use his name for anything legendary in language.
On a prime shelf of our 'classics' stand amongst some 500 books that defy time, single titles of Shakespeare catch the eyes as you pass by.
No poet is known so well in the world. Perhaps, nobody's work is read as much as well. Picking a book and turning the pages is like touching a leaf of history. And its worth somehow has always had an intangible value.
