The strip of space that transits between the sea and the land is a stage of extraordinary drama. The tide sweeps a variety of lives here, where a starfish may eject its gut to eat, a snail may have teeth on its tongue, a shell may see an unauthorized home encroachment and a crab may call you by its antennae, only to disappear in wet mud when you approach.
At our feet and before our eyes, and just some half a mile from our homes, the events could be unbelievably different.
Sejal Mehta scans the 7600 km of India's marine coast and explains to us the blue wonders.
