By Dr R Sudarshan W ith summer slowly setting in, the rural landscape now is predominantly fallow. Heat and dust have covered the farmlands as farmers are yet again looking for rains. The wildlife in the bush too is driven by hunger and thirst. This being the predicament, a whole army of rabbits have invaded our farm overnight and devoured a whole lot of succulent cucumbers. The pity is that you will not have any cucumbers this week. But the pleasure is that some rabbits lived to run about another day.
